This session examines the ethical use of artificial intelligence across the research lifecycle, from study design and data analysis to manuscript preparation and research oversight. Participants will explore how core research ethics principles apply to AI-enabled research, evaluate the potential benefits and risks of AI tools in different research activities, and learn when disclosure of AI use is required, recommended, or unnecessary. Through discussion, participants will develop practical approaches for assessing and managing AI-related risks in their own research context.
