 This class explores the significance of ORCID – Open Researcher and 
 Contributor ID – and its role in enhancing your visibility\, 
 credibility\, and accessibility within the academic community. Through 
 hands-on demonstrations\, attendees will learn how to effortlessly link 
 their ORCID to institutional systems and trusted organizations\, ensuring a 
 unified and comprehensive representation of their scholarly 
 achievements.\n\nAt the end of this class\, attendees will be able to: 
 \n\n\n	Understand the significance of obtaining and utilizing an ORCID 
 iD.\n	Integrate their ORCID with their NetID.\n	Link their ORCID with their 
 Northwestern Elements profile and with their eRA Commons 
 account.\n	Familiarize themselves with trusted entities for the automatic 
 updating of their ORCID profile.\n	Develop an understanding of utilizing 
 their ORCID for funding\, publishing\, and researcher identification 
 purposes.\n
